an old christmas wish
Remember when we were little and we'd make lists for Santa of all the things we wished for. Silly things like toys, books, candy, cloths, season tickets to the LA Kings.... okay maybe that was just me.
These days with people pushing and pulling for useless junk on expensive shelves it seems that as we got older we came to look forward to the list more and more and the idea behind the holidays less and less. It is as if we never realized that those lists were just an excuse to be greedy for a few short days a year. I guess it must be the 6 year old that lives in each of us, the one who sees holiday lights and smells pine in the air and just has to get a bit out of control, and somehow we forget what really matters.
For me it is was and will always be all the memories I've made over the year its sad i can't remember what i got for Christmas last year but i can tell you who showed up on my front doorstep at 10pm on Christmas eve to help clean up after the holiday madness at my house.
So this year, as my first official act as a soon to be 25 year old woman, I've made my list of the things I want this year from Santa. Here is hoping I’m on the good list this year......
1. Health
2. Happiness
3. Prosperity
4. Love
5. Laughter
6. Season tickets to the LA Kings
