A rant to the universe

Can I please get thrown a freaking bone here in the love department. I'm not an ugly girl, hell I have big boobs, and i like sports. I don't have a mile long list of ex's or 6 kids from 5 dads. I've never been on reality TV, and i have no desire to have a sugar daddy. I'm not asking for a ton, just a geeky cute guy who loves hockey and beer w/o any weird issues i.e. momma or baby momma. Someone smart funny who knows what it means to be a man without being a jackass. Someone who can laugh at the stupidity of life without being malicious about it. Someone who can look at you and see not perfection but what is perfect for them. I don't want prince charming he usually ends up looking for his own prince but I'm just so sick of the wrong guy finding me and the right one completely missing me.  So if you exist Mr. Wonderful do a girl a favor and give her some hope because the tools and fools of society are really starting to weigh her down.

a night in the dark

So the power company decided to turn my small town off last night from 10pm to 5:30am a full 7 hours of darkness. The time in the dark made this insomniac wonder what people did before TV , radio, computers, and the Internet . Was reading by candlelight all that appealing? Or was this why birthrates were so much higher before electricity Somehow I doubt it the former... In other news my weekend was yep you guessed it uneventful. Last day of a journey

Today dear readers marks the last day of my la training. Ill be taking my series 66 tomorrow then assuming a passing grade I head back to the brabch and start the online course my job requires to be a real live stock broker and after all those lovely steps ill be ready. ready for what? I've no idea anymore but right now it just feels good to be so close to finishing one quest in my life and to be starting another. I think if this time in la has taught me anything its that I can do more then I think and that hard work and studying all day is a painful process. What I'm yet to know is if it is worth it... Sadly I don't know what tomorrows results will be a passing score seems posibly and hopefully I will be all done with this madness soon. I don't know about you readers but I for one am looking forward to having my life back. The one that includes going out having fun and only really having to worry about studying. twas the night before comic con

Twas the night before Comic Con and all through the house a geek girl was giddy and not about a mouse. The car had been gassed up and waiting for its fare, in hopes it would speed up the arrival there. The passes were printed and itinerary reviewed all that remained was waiting for the stupid sun to move. But as minutes felt like  hours she waited in anticipation for 6am to arrive to head out to her favorite destination. But like most yearly traditions that take so long to arrive this evening was dragging at least in her eyes. So instead of sleeping or doing something productive she decided to blog about her insomnia induced nuttiness. With that being complete one thing remains to be said Happy Comic Con to all now time for me to try and get to bed.
