Recap on a really nice weekend

Highlights from my weekend
Some people write long drawn out explanations of the weekends that make there life better, me I do it in bulletins.

  • Seeing Everclear live and in concert at the house of blues on sunset. Without question one of the best shows of my life.
  • Driving down PCH with Jacklin and Nick for the fuck of it.
  • Riding on the back of a Davidson and knowing that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, just got to find me a bike or a guy with one.
  • California adventures with Crystal, riding rides were too old for and remembering why we'll never be too old for Disney.
  • Visiting my auntie and remembering what it feels like to be loved for simply being able to breath.
  • Burning 510 calories in an hour at the gym.
  • Texting a guy I’m into without being forced to.
  • Finding out my favorite cousin is starting his own business.
  • Getting Coachella tickets for all 3 days, and getting a cool hotel room for said event.
  • Visiting the old married couple, known as Nadia and Niyaz.
  • Getting starbucks with Nick at 8:30 in the morning.
  • Getting off with an easier ticket by a friendly cop on a Sunday morning when I should've been sleeping to begin with.

Mostly my weekend was spent waking up from my boring as fuck life, and that's something that we all need to do from time to time. Because its always a good feeling.

Last day of a journey

Today dear readers marks the last day of my la training. Ill be taking my series 66 tomorrow then assuming a passing grade I head back to the brabch and start the online course my job requires to be a real live stock broker and after all those lovely steps ill be ready. ready for what? I've no idea anymore but right now it just feels good to be so close to finishing one quest in my life and to be starting another. I think if this time in la has taught me anything its that I can do more then I think and that hard work and studying all day is a painful process. What I'm yet to know is if it is worth it... Sadly I don't know what tomorrows results will be a passing score seems posibly and hopefully I will be all done with this madness soon. a night in the dark

So the power company decided to turn my small town off last night from 10pm to 5:30am a full 7 hours of darkness. The time in the dark made this insomniac wonder what people did before TV , radio, computers, and the Internet . Was reading by candlelight all that appealing? Or was this why birthrates were so much higher before electricity Somehow I doubt it the former... In other news my weekend was yep you guessed it uneventful. A couple hours at work on Saturday fallowed by sushi with my family then an evening of dinner drinking and darts in the OC and for a little bonus getting pulled over at midnight after leaving the bar without getting a ticket. Sunday was breakfast at Fullerton and sleeping for the rest of my lazy Sunday one day I'll have a productive weekend but for now... My weekdays are so busy that I think I'm allowed a few lazy days between Friday night and Monday morning. And on that note as it is now officially Monday and our hero sits in an overly crowded tr...

Into Each Life a little Rain must Fall

I used to think my life was pretty entertaining. How can you not think that way I mean were each born and given one life one total and then life happens. we meet these people and they call themselves our parents and they love us unconditionally if were really lucky we hear how much they love us and how important living our one life is. And then one day after all these years of having these amazing people who love you around you every day of your life..... Well you wake up on May 4th with a dad who is a mountain of a man full of kindness and opinion and goodness and he tells you he loves you and you know you are loved and protected and that much a better person because your his child. and then he takes a breath and he's gone.
